Upcoming photography exhibition
The first edition of Madurai District Tiny and Small-Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA) Pixel Photo & Video Exhibition will be held from May 27-29 at IDA-Scudder Convention Center in Madurai.
Speaking to the press, President of Pixel Photo & Video Exhibition, S. Bharathi said, “This is a one-of-a-kind exhibition held in southern Tamil Nadu, especially Madurai. , for the benefit of passionate photographers”.
In recent times, the arena has opened up to talented professional photographers. “The demand for female photographers, especially to photograph newborn babies and maternity photo shoots, is booming, as is interest in pre and post wedding photo shoots,” he said. .
The three-day exhibition will house around 100 booths, showcasing the latest photography and videography models and accessories, he said.
Visitors will have the opportunity to touch and feel several brands of photo equipment under one roof.
The exhibition will bring together several leading camera manufacturers such as Sony, Canon Nikon, Fuji, Panasonic, Simpex, Godox from all over India in partnership with the exhibition. “Shutterbugs can also expect new product launches from major international brands and special exhibition offers,” Mr. Bharathi said.
Special booths for the printing industry, backdrop and flash makers, album makers, helicam and gimbal accessories will be set up.
For the technical gurus, software on album creation, studio management and editing software will be shown.
Enthusiasts can also use this opportunity to sell their used cameras and buy brand new ones with special discounts, Bharathi said.
A separate pavilion will showcase a variety of vintage cameras, while another will showcase the history of photography via graphics.
Stands set up by banks providing insurance and EMI services will be part of the exhibition.
Basic camera services will be carried out in separate cabins as well as special camps for eye checks and free vaccination for photographers and videographers.
Workshop-seminars on various subjects related to photography and videography will be organized. To get hands-on experience, a fashion show will be held for attendees to try their hand at fashion photography, he said.
Apart from this, photography competitions and a raffle will be held for visitors and high-end cameras will be offered as prizes, he added.
The president of MADITSSIA, MS Sampath, and the vice-president, Mr. Lakshminarayanan were also present.
The free exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
