Sanjay Bhattacharya presents the mobile photography exhibition ‘A to Z’

The eminent artist Sanjay Bhattacharya, in his thirst for creating new art, immerses himself in new forms. His very first mobile photography exhibition (A to Z) opened on September 9, 2022 at the Bikaner House Main Building.
Begum Sharmila Pataudi and Padmashree Shovana Narayan attended the opening.

Despite being a professional painter, there is no end to his skills. Breaking the monotonous work schedule, he took his camera and made his first India tour in 2017 where he clicked 1000 photos of which he exhibited a few at his first photography exhibition the same year.

Once again he got all his clicks, but this time from his own cell phone camera. In this exhibition he came up with four different segments: some are shots of his hand shadows in mystical lights, some of his distorted shadows or reflections of him on different elements, a few of exterior photographs and other interiors.

Sanjay Bhattacharya says, “I am very obliged to see such a warm reception for my very first mobile photography in the city. Since I started my second tangent in 2017, it was a new experience to follow the freedom of passion that I have found over the last few years. Now I have so much more to give after seeing such success and the love I have received from people.

Prominent personalities of the city attended the exhibition such as Maneka Gandhi, MP Lok Sabha, Artist Kanchan Chander, Singer Dr Minu Bakshi, Artist Shridhar Iyer, Artist Sudip Roy, Founder of the Ashhwika Shama Soni Foundation and classical singer Meeta Pandit, among others.

The show will continue from September 9 to September 14, 2022 at Bikaner House and from September 16, 2022 to September 30, 2022 at Prithvi Art and Cultural Center, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.
