End of year exhibition 2022 | Open call for the international photography exhibition | ArtsHub United Kingdom

Exhibition date: 3rd December – December 30, 2022

The year 2022 has been a year of readjustment for many of us, for better or for worse. Whatever the rest of the year, we’d like to end the year on a high with an exhibition that celebrates photography.

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is only holding a month-long exhibition in December, with the exhibition spread over the two floors of the gallery. There is no fixed theme for the end of year exhibition, it can be anything you want, but if you like to work on a theme, some suggestions are Celebration, The Past Year or Looking to the Future .

Year End is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images of any style/genre of photography.

You don’t have to be a professional photographer to participate as we believe photography is for everyone, so we want work from emerging and established photographers. Scottish and international photographers are welcome.

Selected photographers will have their work exhibited during a month-long exhibition. Works will appear online in our online gallery on our website.

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your work to an audience of artists, photographers and creatives as well as the general public.

As an additional thank you to all the wonderful photographers who have supported us and continued to submit their work to us over the past year, we will be awarding a handful of lucky photographers with prizes for work that we think is truly outstanding. It will be a mix of gallery products, zines, photography books and a free submission to one of our upcoming exhibitions next year.
