ArtsBerry presents a photography exhibition and discussion with prestigious New York-based Asian photographers
NEW YORK, March 10, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — ArtsBerry hosted a photography exhibit and artist panel discussion at 19 W 26TH ST, New York, NY. The event showed the photographic works of two prestigious Asian artists, Man Zhu and Bingqin Zhang. At the same time, Lianjie Zhenga well-known Asian artist in the United States, was invited to join the panel discussion.
A total of 12 exceptional works by artists Man Zhu and Bingqin Zhang were featured at this exhibition. About sixty guests attended this event. “Relationship is a body of photographic works through which I explore my subconscious behavior by showing my relationships with the people around me.” Man Zhu noted. Bingqin Zhang exhibited his series of works, A gender touch, which explores photographic materials, processes and the relationship between artists. Sir. Lianjie Zheng, one of the representative figures of contemporary Chinese art, praised the photographic works of the two artists. During the Artist Panel Discussion, three renowned photographers discussed the opportunities and challenges facing Asian artists in today’s art world.

On Man Zhu
Man Zhufine art photographer, member of China Women Photographers Association, scholarship holder and representative of excellent student work from Savannah College of Art and Designin the MFA degree of photography at the School of Visual Arts. His work has participated in art exhibitions in new York, Savannah, Cincinnatiand Minneapolisand has achieved outstanding achievement in some international photography awards, such as IPA 2021, Chromatic Awards 2021 and New York Fine Art Competition.
About Bingqin (Zaccheo) Zhang
Bingqin (Zaccheo) Zhang is a Chinese artist, based in new York. After completing his graduate studies in fine art photography at the University Savannah College of Art and Designshe follows the Fashion Photography program at the School of Visual Arts. Bingqin Zhang was a finalist in the 96th Annual Print Center Competition and won the 2021 ICP Honorable Mention Award. His work is included as a case study in the book “Photology: Photographers and Metaphor” by the author. Aldo Brantiwhich was collected in the libraries of University of Oxford, Cambridge University Library, National Library of ScotlandNational Library of Walesand Trinity College Dublin.
On Lianjie Zheng
Zheng Lianjie, born in beijing, is a Chinese contemporary artist based in the United States, active in performance art, installation, photography, contemporary ink and video art. As one of the representative figures of Chinese contemporary art, Mr. Zheng’s works greatly promoted and influenced the development process of Chinese contemporary art in the 1990s. Mr. Zheng was awarded the “Medal of general honour” Kentucky government of United States, and the “United Nations Messenger of Peace Award” by the United Nations. His photographic work, Huge Explosion: Bind Lost Souls was sold in the United States $30,000 at Sotheby’s the New York one first Asian contemporary art auction in 2006, setting a record for the top six Chinese in the world.
